We've recently released a new update to Notability!

• Selecting text in an imported PDF now scrolls the note when you drag to the edge, on Notability Cloud
• Long-press a note on Home to get the same menu you get in the main Notes list
• General crash and stability improvements

If you experience any trouble with this version, please follow our Help & Support guidelines and contact support.

Thanks for using Notability ✏️💙

Hi everyone!

Our Laptop giveaway has officially closed, thank you so much to everyone who entered 💙

We’re excited to announce that u/mysticspark is our winner!

Now that this giveaway is wrapped up, we’d love to hear what you’d like to see from us next. Are there any other events or giveaways you’d be interested in?

Another giveaway, an AMA, a community event, or something completely different. Let us know what you’d like to see!

Hi everyone!

We're looking to improve how we support users here and help resolve issues more quickly and efficiently. A big part of that is making sure we have the right information upfront when issues are reported. This helps both the community and our team troubleshoot faster and more effectively.

Experiencing syncing issues or missing notes?

Please contact Support as soon as possible.

Step 1: Submit a support ticket through the app. To contact Support go to Notability Settings > Help > Contact Support.

This is important because it gives our team access to device diagnostics, which can help identify the root cause of the issue during the investigation.

Step 2: After submitting your ticket, DM u/kaylanotability with (chat not mod mail):

• The email address associated with your Notability account
• A brief summary of your issue

From there, your case will be escalated to our Support team. If needed, Engineering will review the issue as well, and our team will follow up with you via email as soon as possible.

Experiencing a bug or feature issue?

If you're experiencing issues such as lag, freezing, app hangs, or problems with features (such as Learn), please include the following information in your post:

• What device are you using? (iPad, iPhone, Mac, Android, Web, etc.)
• Are you connected to stable Wi-Fi/internet?
• Have you restarted your device recently?
• Have you restarted the Notability app?
• What OS version are you using? (Please double-check that it's up to date.)
• What version of Notability are you using?
• What subscription do you have? (Starter, Plus, etc.)
• Are you using iCloud or Notability Cloud for sync?

*Please note: Troubleshooting issues over Reddit can be tricky, so it’s best to contact our Support team with any issues you’re experiencing. They’ll be able to take a closer look and help further.

Thank you all for being a part of the Notability community! We appreciate your feedback, bug reports, feature requests, and willingness to help one another 💙
