Start Canada Day with a free 5K by the Welland Canal

Looking for a different way to kick off Canada Day?

Welland Canals Trail parkrun is holding a special Canada Day event this Wednesday, July 1 at 9:00 AM.

It's a free, timed 5K along the Welland Canal. You can run, jog, or walk—there's no time limit, and all ages and abilities are welcome. First-timers are encouraged!

📍 Start: Welland Canals Trail, below Lock 3, near St. Catharines Museum
⏰ Briefing: 8:45 AM
🏃 Start: 9:00 AM
