For the last month or so, I have started noticing the audible alerts i.e. horn sounds if I lock the car while the ignition is on. The horn sounds 3 times in rapid succession. The same thing happened when I locked the car while it was switched off as well.

I am pretty sure this wasn't the case earlier. These sort of audible alerts were not present and I really liked that.

I want to turn these off but I could not find any setting to do so. Has anyone else experienced this? Have you been able to turn these off?

It is recent, so I am suspecting a software update or my recent car service.

Hi, I am learning that the car battery needs to be charged to 100% when using the home AC charger setup. This is apparently important for the LFP battery chemistry. The software can only determine the charging level with certainty at 100%.

I have been trying to maintain the 30% to 85% shallow charging cycles but that seems to be actually counterproductive for this type of battery.

I wanted to know if this is your understanding too. FWIW I went through the car manual and did not see a specific mention of one should or should not charge to 100%.

Hi, I am getting only 430 km range for my XEV 9S, and I wanted to understand if I need to any changes.

Here are the details:
Car: XEV 9S, Pack 3 Above, 79 kWh
Modes: Range and Everyday. I am using Range whenever my speed is below 60 kmph, for city driving and on internal roads. And I use Everyday for the Highway driving.
Climate: I keep the AC on throughout, 'auto' mode, temperature set to 20, fan at 3
I keep DRL on too.

I have only driven 600 km so far. Today, after a 230km drive spanning city traffic, internal roads and highways, I ended up with 46% of battery, yielding the 430km range figure.

Please let me know if 430km is typical. Is there anything I should change about my driving or modes etc.?
