I’m planning to buy the XEV 9e, but with the Tata Sierra EV now in the picture, I’m wondering if Mahindra might announce better offers in July.
I’m not expecting a price cut, but maybe better finance offers, cash discounts, or free accessories.
Do you think it’s worth waiting a couple of weeks, or should I just go ahead with the XEV 9e now?
Would love to hear from anyone who’s followed Mahindra’s offers in the past.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to vent a bit about the software situation—or rather, the lack of support—from Mahindra for BE 6 and XEV 9e owners.

It’s been over a year since I bought mine, and honestly, I love the car. But what’s really frustrating is that Mahindra still hasn’t delivered several of the features they advertised at launch.

What makes it even worse is that they’re launching newer features for 9S owners while existing BE 6 and XEV 9e owners are still waiting for features that were originally promised to us.

To add insult to injury, those of us who’ve crossed the 12-month mark now have to renew our ME4U subscription—and at full price. It’s hard to justify paying again when the software experience still feels incomplete.

Does anyone else feel the same way, or has Mahindra shared any roadmap for when existing owners can expect these promised updates?

Do most of you charge on standard 3KW socket which typically has 2.5 sq mm cable by default in most Indian homes? Have any of you done any specific upgrades for routine (daily) slow charging overnight?

How are you managing traveling to remote places like mountains etc and charging there in home stays and guest houses? Do you trust their electric infra or are you scared something may fuse or get burnt? My guess would be that most guest houses and hotels use better quality and high sq mm cables than homes because multiple appliances can run simultaneously such as water heaters, ACs and heaters, kettles etc and they would ideally go overboard with protections. I am thinking of buying Wunder Current’s 35 meters extension. What are you guys using? Since electricity is pretty much everywhere, requesting someone for slow charging point is always better albeit a time consuming option in case you are stuck. Remote places: Tirthan Valley, Barot, Rajgundha, Auli etc.

MRF tyre users in XEV 9E …. How is your ride and the tyre on the whole

We park our ev in a public parking lot. It has only one 16amp socket with earthing but with no provision of installing a separate charger. Most of the vehicles parked here are ev's and most are inglo based vehicles. Whenever the socket is free, we all use it to top up the charging. But the problem is that there are frequent voltage fluctuations due to which charging gets stopped for some time and then gets resumed after some time, maybe within seconds or minutes. Same goes for electricity cuts which are very very frequent in this area.

Let's say you did charging for a total of 10 hours then there will be 8-10 instances where the charging will auto cut off or stop and then resume after a few seconds or minutes. Does this cause any issues with the battery, charger, motor or any other component? Since all ev's are nowadays logging these things, can this thing be used to void warranty or something?

Are there any SOP/Best practices for an update to install?

1. Is it safe to update the car in a basement considering downloading of the update is already done?

2. Is it necessary to sit inside the car with the key as the car updates ? Should the car detect a passanger in seat for update to go on smoothly?

3. Do we need the key inside the car for system to not auto shut down?

4. I was trying to lock the car with the key but was unable to as the update was happening any possible way to do that ?

5. Is it safe to put the car on 3.3 kw slow charging when updates are being installed

6. Is it safe to put the car on 11 kw charging or even more DC charging 60-120 kw?

7. Any other things worth considering best practices etc.

Facing a cracking sound from speaker from the driver side speaker on the top. The cracking only starts when the sound is above like 50-60%. As usual the sc idiots say that it is vibration from loud noise and not an issue.

Is anyone else facing this issue? Is there any particular music/song which u can suggest that will help in making the idiots understand that this is indeed an issue? Is there any setting which one should do in the audio setting option so that this cracking sound can be properly recorded in a video as currently when we try to make a video of the same the loud noise overlaps the cracking sound.

We're planning to get the XUV 9E pack three, but we saw that the Cinelux variant is a bit cheaper than the regular 9E. Can anyone flag major or minor differences between the regular and Cinelux variants? As I researched, there's no key difference; it's just that because of the matte finish and black seat leather, it's cheaper than the regular one.

I have a fully sealed Mahindra 11 kW charger that I can't get installed in my society due to load restrictions. The installation with 15m wire comes free along with it. Price is negotiable.
