I plan on taking my niece to go see the fireworks tonight. Is there anything preventing us from going to Innovation Park rather than the tailgating lots to watch them?

I owe my interest in the Titanic largely to the 1997 film. If it weren’t for that movie I probably wouldn’t be nearly as interested in the Titanic as I am today. I’m genuinely curious about how much impact the 1997 film had on public interest in the disaster.

I often find myself wondering whether the Titanic would still be as culturally significant today if the 1997 film had never been made.

I’m aware that several Titanic films were produced before James Cameron’s version and that there was already interest in the ship beforehand. I firmly believe that Cameron’s film dramatically expanded the Titanic fandom. How different would things look today if his film had never been produced?
