I was wondering what the opinions would be if the 5.5e Pact of the Chain invocation provided the Familiar Friend feat or Investment of the chain Master including Battle Familiar as a 1/per day spell requiring no spell slots.

Just something so there is more benefit with Pact of the Chain and the new familiar feats/spell.

Is there any reasonable inclusion you would think would be fun without being game breaking?

What 2014 invocations that haven’t been updated for 2024 would you be interested in seeing updated?

Additionally, how would you want them to be updated?
