Coincidentally, I was looking for Over the Garden Wall themed postcards last week and I read an article about how this very postcard was used as inspiration for the show! I was literally so excited when I saw it today!! To answer your question, I am 100% a sweets baker and my speciality is oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin snickerdoodles! 🍪🎃

WOW! I don’t know why, but my USPS Informed Delivery wasn’t showing all this mail, so I skipped walking to the mailbox for two days because of this heat wave. I was so surprised to find so much mail! I can’t wait to write everyone back, maybe that’ll give me something to do this weekend besides working on my first big offer lol

First of all, I can see all the love and care that went into the Star Trek card. Honestly, I’m so impressed with how on theme you were, even the postage stamp matched. (And they didn’t even cancel it!) But then, I opened another card from you and my jaw DROPPED. One of my favorite Pokémon, Skitty, right on the front, and on the inside?? MAGICAL! I am OBSESSED with the way you laid out this card, especially the PINK Nintendo D.S. Oh and of course both envelopes were equally awesome! I will write you back soon!!

u/Ok_Theme7072 Thank you for the Jupiter card with the butterfly for Father’s Day! You hit the mark with both purple and space, it also somehow reminded me of The Planets (the orchestral suite) and I went and listened to the Jupiter song which put me in my feels lol. The butterfly was such a nice touch too. Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of great blue herons which give me the same sentiment. Also, the moody blue envelope works so well with this flower stamp!

All the stickers and washi are so cute and I especially love your address stamp and the cat doodle! Tell you cats I also like to hide when strangers come into my house haha!

u/Rare_Cranberry_7861 Thank you for the beautiful flower vase postcard! Im happy to report that my AC is back up and running, thank goodness too because this heatwave is no joke. Also, the stickers are super fun, I really like them! As for stamp collecting, I haven’t thought too much about it since almost all the stamps I’m getting are new to me if they aren’t still for sale. I’m keeping my eye out for the cutest ones, like cute animals (maybe cats) or flowers.

I really need to get caught up with at least The Mandalorian, because he would have really loved it. He even made his own mando armor that he painted purple!

The art on it is just so gorgeous and I really like the cardinal and chair postage stamps. Also, your little pigeon and puppy stamps are adorable!

My main plan for the summer is to not perish from the heat, but this makes it hard to partake of my favorite way to cook woodear mushrooms, which is my local Chinese hot pot restaurant. It’s just way too hot for hot pot…

I’m not sure if I’m missing some big tells on this AI fox card, but I see at least all the leaves and petals on the plants are super messed up. Also, your return address labels are totally relatable!

u/kaeorin thank you for the Barchan Sand Dunes postcard! My favorite constellation is probably Lyra because I got attached to it during a research project. It kinda looks more like a goldfish cracker than a harp, though lol 

As someone whose dad has passed, Father’s Day weekend can be a little hard and confusing. I grew up with a single father who passed away when I was a teen, so I never quite know what to do with these parent holidays. These days, I have a wonderful mother-in-law that I am happy to celebrate, but even though my father-in-law is great, this weekend still belongs to my awesome dad. 

I am someone who loves to cope with humor, so if anyone would like to send me some dark, comedic relief, that would be quite fun. Or if you have any cards that would remind me of my dad and want to make me cry (in a good way) you could try: Star Wars, Doctor Who, Star Trek, or something purple.

If you’re in a similar situation yourself and would simply like to share your experience, I’d be honored to read about it and send a heartfelt reply.

Anyways, I know I’m posting this too close to Father’s Day for them to arrive soon enough (because I had the holiday hidden on my calendar lol), but if you’d like to help me celebrate Dead Dad Day, leave a comment or send me a DM for my address. It reminds me of an art class project I did back in high school where we layered cut out paper to make designs and of course I did cat. I also love all the stickers on the envelope and the cat wax stamps are sooo cool!

I feel cooler already (not just because they finally fixed my AC yesterday lol). I always loved watching Bob Ross with my grandfather as a little kid, so this is so perfect. Also, you get the honor of being my first thank you post! I'll send you back something soon! :)

My AC went out on Monday and won’t be fixed until at least next week. The temperature inside my apartment has been getting above 90 degrees… I work from home, so I am stuck here, and the heat is making me be mean to my poor boyfriend. 

Please send me a card that can help me stay cool ❄💧🌬 (maybe refreshing water or cold landscapes) or help me apologize to my boyfriend for being cranky after we are rescued from this heat. I guess you could also send me a card of some place that’s even hotter than this room, like maybe a volcano 🌋 or the surface of the sun ☀, so that I can be glad I’m not there instead.

I hope wherever you are reading this from is a comfortable temperature. If you would like to send me a card, please leave a comment or DM and I’ll send my address. When my crafting room has returned to a habitable temperature, I will try to send something back if you include a return address.

Anyway, thanks for letting me vent, and hopefully, cold air will come out of my vents soon!
