Do you consider the Gaels and Scots, Basques, Sami, Irish, Welsh and irish travelers as indigenous peoples in europe.

Personaly (as a scottish gael) I would say we are as we all have our own cultrues and have had experiences simular (but not as bad) to yours. Irish potato famine, Highland clearances, language punishment and bans ect.

Challenge

I have a challenge, Naturaly evolve Toki Pona into a more complex language. So making a language family tree.

Rules

  1. The language must have a mildly simualr feel to toki pona in terms of pronounciation. (so it can be different but it needs to have at least a little hint of toki pona grammar/pronounciation)
  2. It must evolve through stages, cant go from toki pona to complete new language¹.
  3. You must show a clear language development tree.

¹(I mean the language should evolve like

Toki Pona -> Eastern Toki pona -> Proto Ponká -> Early Ponkà -> Middle Ponkà -> Modern Ponká) example.
