Memorial Day Weekend at Cape Lookout

Our group (based in the DMV) decided to do our annual (it’s only our 2nd year) camping at Cape Lookout National Seashore in North Carolina. We got rained on 80% of the time from Thursday until our departure on Monday. We still had a great time, especially during the other 20%.

The Island can be accessed using a Ferry Service in Davis, NC.

Camped at Assateague Island in our vehicles and some pop up tents. Got visited by wild horses maybe more than 5x while setting up and during bonfire. It was a nice Friday night but the morning after got really windy and foggy but that did not stop us from doing OSV
