Anyone using WooCommerce for Claude on a production store yet?
WooCommerce dropped two posts in the last week worth knowing about if you've been curious about hooking Claude up to a Woo store.
May 7: they shipped "WooCommerce for Claude," an experimental plugin from their Radical Speed Month.
It does two interesting things:
- analytics skills with pre-aggregated answers to merchant questions like "how did my store do this week," "what's driving sales," "are my coupons working."
- a knowledge layer exposing store profile, catalog schema, policies, and enriched product data as MCP resources, so Claude has context before making a tool call.
May 14: they followed up with 18 prebuilt slash-command workflows on top of that, each built around a real merchant question and returning a readout with next actions.
What I'm curious about: has anyone tried this against a production store, or are people still in test mostly? And for those who have, what's been useful in actually running a store?
