i just wanna shout out the community in this subreddit. i literally only redownloaded reddit because of this game. i grew up playing fighting games casually and this is the first time i’ve interacted with the community online and played ranked ever. i was stuck during season 0 at Platinum 3. saw some pretty sage advice from BenTheJarMan that helped me understand how to play better and probably will help me play fighting games better in general. season 1 came around i was able to climb to GOTG1 and number 53 on the leaderboards. folks have said it’s not that impressive since the game is “dead” and full of “franchise fans” but i’d be lying if i said i wasn’t proud of doing it. since July 30th i’ve stopped playing and turned the game over to my 3 Sons. i’m playing Marvel Tokkon now and having lots of fun. thanks for all the advice and overall good vibes, especially Charming-Monk179 dude is always so positive, and see y’all next season… maybe. 💙🥫

for me it’s Battle Beast, i’ve been able to make some comebacks with others but i have him i still have a chance lol. Who’s a character your always confident with making a comeback with?

a little throwback to the fight where i was forced to clutch with Duplikate and where i first realized how her move set effects her health. i started using her because i like her armored punch attack and just thought she was a glass canon, then i realized i was using her all wrong.

My first win over someone with 10k+ LP. earned 105 LP myself. 700 more to Plat1. I wish my victory cry could’ve been heard but it was so satisfying nonetheless.
