Structural engineer/general contractor recommendations?

Looking to knock out most of a brick wall (load bearing) to install French doors. I understand this sort of work requires both a structural engineer AND a general contractor. Has anyone here (in Hamilton or surrounding area) ever put in a door where there was no door? In brick? If so, can you/would you recommend who you hired? Any leads would be greatly appreciated! Thank you :)

Serious question for folks who love and have recently purchased BR540

I am an unabashed lover of BR540– I bought my first bottle in 2018, another in 2022, and my most recent one a few weeks ago. I was horrified to see (smell) how much they changed the formula. It used to be atomic, rich, complex— now it just smells like alcohol and the sillage is almost non-existent. After some research it seems clear they’ve changed their formula, which makes perfect sense because of course they’d cheapen their formula to expand their profits. (And before some folks tell me I’ve gone nose blind to it— I promise I haven’t! I’ve crowd-sourced opinions from friends who know and love (and even those who don’t love) my scent well).

My question is twofold: 1) have you noticed the significant change in smell/formula if you’ve purchased in the last year? And 2) are you still able to enjoy it/do folks still pay you compliments despite the drastic change?

I ask because the store I purchased from (Holt Renfrew) won’t let me return it and I can’t figure out whether to keep it and wear it anyway, or to try and resell online and recoup some of my cost.

Thank you for your opinions and insight in advance!

Picked up a bottle of this in Valencia in 2015, finished it in 2017, and sadly discovered it was discontinued when I remembered to look for it in 2020. Probably still my favourite scent to date, and I’ve spent thousands on niche perfumes. Anyone have any leads? Even anything similar to these notes:

“Top notes are Lemon and Bergamot; middle notes are Mimosa, Black locust and Broom; base notes are Musk and White Woods.”

Thank you in advance for any insight!
