Cannot log in - need help

If I had to guess, the problem has persisted close to a year now. I am writing to tech support regularly, and all I get it is "we know" and then silence for months on end. And I still cannot log in.
I've been registered there via the email, but just in case I've tried to log in via google, amazon, and facebook (all attached to the same email) to no avail.
I get password change emails just fine, and I can indeed change my password. But each time I try to log in, the same error pops up, and I have no idea what to do: nothing I do works or even hints at the issue at hand, and the support has been useless thus far giving no answer or helping out.
