I’m taking the Proctored Assessment next week, and I really want to pass this time.

About 4 or 5 years ago, I took the TSA test and didn’t pass. I think the X-ray images confused me, and I ended up forgetting about the whole process and just moved on with my life.

I reapplied to TSA about 2 weeks ago, and now I have my Proctored Assessment next week. For those of you who have taken it recently, what advice or tips would you give me to prepare? What should I focus on, especially when it comes to the X-ray portion?

I really want to get through this this time, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. If I fail this second time, I think I’ll just let it go and accept that maybe TSA isn’t meant for me. 😅

What federal positions would you recommend based on my experience? (Pittsburgh, PA)

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for advice on what federal positions I should be applying for in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

I'm 30 years old and trying to transition into federal employment. So far I've mainly been applying for GS-5 through GS-9 positions.

Here's a little about my background:

• 4+ years as a FedEx Ground driver.

• Former correctional officer. (2+ years)

• Former security officer. (5 years)

•Completed 120 college credits in Business Administration / Computer Information Systems.

•Bilingual (English and Spanish).

•Experience working independently, interacting with the public, following procedures, training other people, and meeting daily performance goals.

So far I've applied to positions with USCIS, FAA, US Army Corps of Engineers, Railroad Retirement Board, and a few others.

Based on my background, what agencies, job series, or positions would you recommend? I'm open to office work, operations, logistics, administrative positions, inspections, or anything else that might be a good fit.

I'd really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

I'm loving it.

I'm really loving how it's coming together. Still a few things left on the list, but I'm happy with the progress so far.

I am officially broke.

Unfortunately, the rims are on backorder, but I hope I made the right purchase.

Also, I already have the 2.5" lift kit in my garage, waiting to be installed 🤞🏻
