Nobody wants to spend 5 minutes fighting a boss because the gunplay simply sucks

Look, I have 5000 hours in this game, but let's be honest here, the gunplay just isn't among the best gaming has ever offered. Between the lag/client-server discrepancies and the atrocious enemy ai combat can be a really awful experience. Heck, I’m convinced vats is so popular mainly because it lets us completely ignore the combat and be done with it as fast as possible

Long, engaging encounters will never be a thing in this game simply because the combat doesn't have the enough weight or the mechanical depth to keep extended fights interesting
