Okay, putting myself out there properly this time.
I’m 26, Gurgaon born and raised. I work in tech, have a pretty good career, my own life, friends, hobbies, and way too many interests to list here. I’m into music, driving, travelling, movies, gaming, random plans, good food and generally trying new things.

And yes, I’m single and genuinely looking to meet someone.

I’m looking for something that starts with “let’s see where this goes” and can eventually become something serious. I don’t want a situationship, and I don’t want to rush into calling something a relationship after two dates either.

I want to actually talk first. Get to know each other. Send stupid memes. Have long conversations. Go for coffee. Maybe a drive. Do something spontaneous. See if there’s that click.

If it takes a few weeks or a few months, I’m completely fine with that. I’d rather build something naturally with the right person than force something because I’m impatient.

I’m not looking for someone “perfect” either. Just someone who’s curious, affectionate, has a personality of her own, and wants to genuinely get to know each other.

Hosting a board game night tomorrow (Friday) at my flat in Gurgaon.

We’ll have stuff like Catan, Monopoly, Poker, Uno, and other card/board games. If you’ve got a favorite game, bring it along too.

I’m a Gurgaon-born guy in my mid-20s. Career’s going well, life is pretty sorted, I have a good group of friends, hobbies, and I actually go out and meet people.
Yet somehow, dating here feels impossible.
I’ve tried dating apps, been on dates, met people through friends, but nothing ever really sticks. At this point I’m less frustrated and more curious—is this just how dating in Gurgaon is?
Last time I made a post like this, I ended up connecting with a lot of amazing Redditors (way more than I expected), so thought I’d ask again.
Are you guys finding dating here just as difficult, or am I missing something? What’s your experience been like?
