Yet another (real) procedural lapse
Yet another story for “The Bhutanese” and Drukpa Dorje.

Yet another story for “The Bhutanese” and Drukpa Dorje.
It’s my opinion that tourism in Bhutan is very choreographed so much so that every tourist documentations cover mostly Thimphu, Paro, and Punakha—Haa in the west till Bumthang in the east/central to be precise.
What most content creator tourists experience are Taktshang, some dzongs, Thimphu’s handicrafts (which are mostly imported) and some dances (not to forget that cringy Om Sala Mani ritual of mud-wall making ). Bhutan is more than this wai.
Is it because of travel companies being too lazy to make itineraries in the unexplored parts of Bhutan? Or is there some regulatory restrictions not to show crude, undeveloped and poor villages of Bhutan to the world?
I’m sure tourists are interested to visit remote places. If you see tourist-made travels contents from Nepal you’ll see a lot of people documenting experiences in remote villages which is just as crude as ours. I feel we have opportunities for the same travel products to be explored in Bhutan as well.
What really does it take to be a rich 🤑 in Bhutan? How are they even able to afford multiple buildings in Thimphu while a dec of land cost in millions?
There are almost no production companies that generate in billions. Most of the businesses are import driven—you know what it takes to do an import business.
Is construction industry lucrative? Compromise construction qualities and siphon money?
Movie productions with a couple of cinema halls in the whole nation makes no sense to generate revenue to afford a 5storied building in prime Thimphu location.
Farming?
Money launder**g? Is there even a place for that in Bhutan?
Or bribe everyone like infamous Phajo Nidup?
Pls, guys share what you think one should do to be super rich(like iykyk) in Bhutan? 🤔 Rich people share your wealth streams pls.
