How to Set Up Movement Keys Like in the Image?
How do I set up movement keys like in the image? I remember wanting to use it so badly when I first started playing the game. Either way, I really want to try it

Personal Best time on-screen during a race
It would be really helpful to have my personal best time displayed somewhere on the HUD while I’m racing — maybe in a corner of the screen. Right now there’s no easy way to compare my current run against my best time. Honestly I don’t even know what my personal best time is. Just sometimes want to compare my current run against it — it would help me see if I’m actually getting better, or figure out where I’m messing up and what I can improve, or whatever.
Been playing Asphalt Legends for a month — some honest thoughts, and a question for you all
I’ve been playing Asphalt Legends for over a month now, and I’ve spent some time watching content about the game. But I noticed that the engagement around it doesn’t seem that great.
As I mentioned, I’ve been playing for over a month, and I feel like I can’t quite keep up with other players — not in terms of skill or in-game progression, but just… I’m behind. Maybe because I joined too late.
That said, Asphalt Legends is genuinely a fun game. Though I think its mechanics are part of what holds it back.
I stumbled across a video about Asphalt Legends about a month ago and thought, “Hey, this looks like a skill-based game — maybe even something with esports potential.” But after playing it enough, I’m not so sure anymore. Something feels off.
Every night I love watching gaming content — like Trackmania videos from Wirtual. I don’t even play that game, but I really enjoy his content. When I searched for Asphalt Legends content though, I could barely find anything with good quality or decent view counts.
I didn’t play Asphalt in its early days — I only started about a month ago. And I get the feeling that Asphalt Legends’ growth has stalled, or the player base might even be shrinking.
I’ve genuinely tried searching for good Asphalt Legends content, but the videos just aren’t there. It made me wonder — are they working on a new, more modern Asphalt game? One that’s less grind-heavy, with different mechanics, built more around skill-based gameplay?
I’d honestly love to see a new Asphalt game like that. Maybe they don’t know how to evolve Legends anymore and need to start fresh. But then again, maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part, haha.
What about you — are you a veteran or a newer player? And what changes would you want to see in Asphalt Legends?
Why does everyone in MP try to ram me? Is this a TD thing?
I’ve been playing this game for over a month now. I switched to Manual a few days in. But I’ve noticed that in MP, it seems like everyone tries to ram into my car. Are those TD players? What’s weird is that when people try to hit me, they don’t seem to slow down at all. Is that a TD feature?
Does using blue nitro before entering a drift help you corner faster? Similar to yellow and orange nitro. Also, are there any tricks to increase drift radius for cars like the Apollo N? I’ve noticed many people activate blue nitro before hitting a ramp — does a ramp or slope actually reduce speed? By the way, if you guys know any other cool tricks, I’d really appreciate it!
I've been playing for about a month, and the progression system is really hit or miss for me. In most racing games I used to play, you earn cash, buy the car you want, and simply buy the performance parts to upgrade it.
But in Asphalt Legends, it feels like I'm playing a role-playing game. You have to collect shards (blueprints) to "star up" your car, unlock specific stages, and wait for events. The actual driving is fun, but the progression loop makes me feel like I’m managing an MMO character inventory rather than building a garage.
I mean, it takes an absolute eternity to upgrade a car that you actually want. I can rarely enjoy Multiplayer because my favorite car isn't fully upgraded yet. Instead, I'm just forced to use free-try cars and grind repetitive events. It really feels like a racing game where most of the time spent isn't even spent on actual racing.
What are your thoughts on this system? Do you prefer this or the classic "buy and drive" style?
