Home Loan application; Is digihldocs@cba.com.au a legitimate email address?
I'm currently in the process of applying for pre-approval for a Comm Bank digi home loan, started the application through the app, then had a phone appointment. I now need to upload identity verification documents, and income documents.
I've just received emails from digihldocs.cba.com.au asking for these documents.
I just googles this address, and google AI seems convinced that it is not legitimate and says
>The email address digihldocs@cba.com.au is not a legitimate Commonwealth Bank (CommBank) address and is widely flagged as a phishing scam. CommBank does not use general email addresses for customer correspondence and will never ask you to send personal or financial documents via email.
Has anyone else applied for loans through digi home loan, and is this the normal process? Or should I ignore this email and attempt to upload the documents through the comm bank app instead?
