Item Details: 3 ct old mine cut elongated cushion lab diamond (9.75mmby 7.8mm as per the CAD) set on a 14kt yellow gold setting with a bezel frame and cathedral. No IGI certificate as Provence cut this and I didn’t mind it not coming with one.

I purchased this piece in Vietnam from a jewelry store. I asked them to confirm that it was untreated, grade A jadeite and they told me yes.

They said that it didn’t come with a certificate, but if i wanted to, then they could send it off to a lab for an extra 1m VND. Due to time constraints, I said it was fine and just asked them to confirm it was untreated and grade A. It was originally 4m vnd, but I got it for 3.6m vnd since my group also purchased gold jewelry from them.

However, looking at it now, I can’t help but wonder if it is actually untreated? Any thoughts?

The slight purple seems too vibrant… I did a density test and got 3.3 which is in range. It doesn’t look webby with a flashlight, looks like cotton. Sound test is sounds dull when compared to my other bangles, but I saw that sound test isn’t always reliable.
