I need to know where to go from here. I’ve been watching the new stings on TruBlu but they just don’t hit the same. What do i do guys.

I tried lil dizzys cafe today and I enjoyed it but was a bit underwhelmed. I had Gumbo and mac n cheese. Most of all, it was soooo salty. I was even wondering if the chef messed up today or something cause it just felt too salty.
In any case, you guys have any other nola food suggestions? Verti Marte for po boys is on my list. I live by “Hot Stuff” in carrollton so im gonna try that too. I just moved to nola 3 weeks ago.

I think I’ve posted here before, but I’ve been thinking about nighttime walking safety again as I am moving to New Orleans this Saturday.
When I visited, I had a night out where I enjoyed Bourbon for a bit and then I walked to see what was happening at Saint Claude area (this was probably around 11pm-12am time range?)
I believe I walked down Decatur, then up Frenchman.
I feel like this could be a nightlife habit I’d do but I’m wondering if that particular walk is not worth the risk. I recall walking up Frenchman felt OK but once I got to Saint Claude it felt a little off. Just wondering what you guys think. Thanks

Advice for Defence? (MSc Thesis)

Apologies if this is not the right sub for this (since it’s about an MSc thesis not a PhD), but I am finishing up an MSc thesis in pure math and will be doing the defense in around 2 weeks. I have not prepared the slides yet or really prepared my presentation as my supervisor and I have still been going back and forth with edits / revisions to things. Just curious if you have any advice for me. I should be actually submitted the thesis by Tuesday of next week.

I am moving to New Orleans from Canada, and I am curious how drivers licences transfer.
Please correct me if my understanding is wrong:
With a Canadian drivers licence, I should still be able to rent a car from somewhere like Enterprise, right?
If I want to permanently drive in Louisiana, my understanding is that my Canadian licence is not valid because Canada is not on Louisiana’s list of reciprocal driving licence countries or something?
If I sort out an “IDP” before I move (not totally sure what that is), I will be able to get a car and drive myself in Louisiana for up to a year, before needing to get a proper LA licence?

I am curious about the new phone number for a hard reset (hinge). I have been using my current phone number for years, and I feel as though getting a new phone number just for hinge would be tiresome. If I buy a new phone, is it a problem if I keep my current phone number but use a new number just to sign up on Hinge? I mean, technically speaking the number is just used for verification texts on sign-up isnt it? I’m just nervous that if my phone still has my old number, the app would detect that its on my phone somehow even if I sign up with a NEW number. Hopefully my question makes sense. Thanks
