There has been much discussion over how Raven paints Ru over the years. Raven is well known as the make up inspiration for many in the drag race community. But I personally have felt, in the last few years, that I’m not a huge fan of the way she paints. Something about it is alien to me - the wide eyes, the narrow nose, the sort of long looking face. I’m wondering if I am alone in this.
Listen, I love Monet, Trinity, Naomi, whoever is on the podcast. In fact, I like the switch ups - I find them refreshing. But if there is one JUST ONE episode I NEED Bob on it’s the rap episodes. The way he delivers them, gets excited, and analyzes them are him at his best. He doesn’t just read (or stumble) but basically performs the raps.
I was so so looking forward to this week’s pod episode, after an amazing show episode itself, for this. I would have personally (as a patron!) rather have waited for a late episode than this. I’d love for him to make a youtube video just so it isn’t lost to time.
