Where's the best pies in town?

IMHO, every town in Aotearoa is judged by its pies.

At least that's been my experience.

I don't mean like 10 or 20 $ coffee-shop pie, but its most basic, honest $6 pepper-steak or potato-top Tradies pie.

Chicken-camembert if you're feeling fancy.

Is Z or BP really the best I could hope for?

Is China as big a that as they're made out to be?

TYPO ABOVE: meant "threat" not "that"

Preface: I acknowledge China is essentially an authoritarian police-state, but referring to international posture.

I'm genuinely curious, not defending or apologetic.

But unless I've missed something, China has not *actively* engaged in any 'major' armed conflict since the Cultural Revolution.

Other than that, it's mostly been exercising soft/economic power, occasional border disputes, some support for proxy conflicts & naked ambitions to assimilate Taiwan.

Essentially, China doesn't have many experienced veterans(?)
