2D Output

Hi, I have a bunch of profile lines that I need to plot. Currently I am doing each plot individually for each profile line. This takes a lot of time for a lot of variables and needs to be updated after any changes.

Is there a way to automate or mass plot all profile lines for different variables?
Maybe in RAS commander or Rashdf?

Hydro DEM Correction

Hello, need help with DEM hydro correction.

Trying to correct a DEM for hydrologic analysis using Whitebox tools. The DEM (alos_marsgy_dsm) has an error where the channel is blocked by high terrain (blue dot). This is causing the fill tool to raise the entire channel elevation upstream of the block by almost 150-200m to manage flow direction.

Is it possible to remove the channel block error in GIS, which I think would solve this issue?

Tools used for recondition:

Fill Single Cell Pits
Breach Depression Least Cost (dist=5, max_cost=None, min_dist=True, fill=False)
Fill Depressions

DEM is 30m resolution.

Need Help picking a Thinkpad

Into my 3rd ThinkPad. My older T14s is still going at 11 years as a media box, but my recent P1 Gen 4's dGPU (3070) died at 4 years and took the display ports and HDMI with it. I'm now very wary of hot dGPUs in thin chassis. So for a replacement I'm looking for something that'll last longer than the P1 and is highly repairable.

I'm thinking of going for the AMD iGPU models to skip the dead-dGPU scenario, get better battery life, and run cooler — the P1 easily hits the 90s.

Use case is mostly CAD and GIS with occasional light gaming (not a priority), no need for ISV certs, and I want to be able to repair it long-term.

Leaning toward no discrete GPU after the P1 experience. Looking at:
• T16 Gen 5 — cheaper, highly repairable, but caps at Radeon 860M with the Ryzen AI 7 PRO 450
• P16s AMD — Radeon 890M with Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 370 is a step up, but way pricier for almost the same configuration as T16.
• P16 — thicker chassis with a smaller dGPU option, but I'm worried about how hot it runs and eventual motherboard/GPU failure down the line

My questions:

  1. Is the P16s 890M (HX PRO 370) worth the extra price over the 860M (AI 7 PRO 450) in the T16? They seem like almost the same machine otherwise.

  2. Does the P16s 890M come in a 32 GB RAM config? Every US bundle I've found forces 64 GB or 96 GB, which makes it excessively pricier.

  3. Is there a real chance of dGPU failure on the bigger P16 long-term, or am I being over-paranoid?
