1y on T today, nearly 0 facial hair

I’m 1y on T today (yay). My mustache started to grow after 2 or 3 month on t but never grew like « real » hair and GOSH I thought I’d have like chin hairs yk like those teenage hairs that appear and then become more and more noticeable and multiples but it never came for me… My best friend is on the same dose as me, we started almost at the same time and he started to have to shave at 6 month, I was shocked. It makes me so dysphoric I feel like I’m late or smth… I actually bought minoxidil but I love my cat too much, I was so scared to poison him so I didn’t apply it for long. Recently bought ricin oil, idk if that could help… So yeah if you have any advice I would love to read them

UPDATE: SURGERY

Hi !
A couple weeks ago I made a post explaining that I will finally have surgery.
I had it 6 days ago and I was out of hospital yesterday.
They removed 25 cm with a robotic ceolioscopy surgery and it went perfectly fine.
First days were HORRIBLE. The pain was unbearable, they literally gave me every drug possible and I was constantly high (put still in pain). I had my first gas on day 3 and pooped on day 4. I didn’t have diarrhea at all, it was all normal, just very acid.
Even if it was hard and painful, I started to walk on day 0 (going to the bathroom was the maximum I could do)
Day 1 was the worst, I would feel the gas in my shoulders, need help to wash myself (I literally wanted to DIE) but I had my first meal (a yoghurt)
Day 2 was horrible too, I was in so much pain and I was as dizzy as day 0. As a nursing student I knew I’ll be better faster if I tried to move so I managed to go to the chair and stayed for 1h. I was so tired after that that I slept for the rest of the day.
Day 3 was better, I asked to take off my IV line because I wanted to move more freely, strong drugs were not helping me anyway. After they took it off I had my first shower, I sat on a chair in the shower and did the best I could to, I was relieved after, but I was still very dizzy so I almost fell multiple times.
On day 4, I felt better, I was starting to complain and wanted to go home (it’s a good sign hahah). Everyday I would try to walk in my room a little bit longer each time and to be on the chair more than the bed. It was exhausting but i knew it’ll help me recovering. I had my first poop and started to eat normally again.
Day 5 (yesterday) was my last day in hospital, the doctors said that my blood test was not perfect but I could go. I’m having a blood test tomorrow to see if things are in a good way. I took a taxi to go home (the first ride was CRAZY, every road movement hurts a lot I was holding my stomach all the way home (30 min by car). I was also still dizzy and the strong heatwave didn’t help. On the evening, I went out to take some food I like, ate, drank tea and slept.
Today, I’m starting to get less dizzy. I’m still in pain but it’s not that hard to walk and function normally.

Sooo well, I think my recovery is going very fast and ngl I’m afraid I’m not taking it easy enough.
What do you think?

After 17y of hell, I will have surgery

I was diagnosed at 3, one of the rare documented pediatric cases of Crohn’s disease in 2009. I’ve had almost every single drug, but remission never came.

My case is so complicated that the professionals in my city (which is recognized as one of the best hospitals regarding gastroenterology in France) gave up on my case, giving me medications that don’t work, not knowing what to do, admitting me when the flare-up was too hard and letting me go with steroids as soon as I was « okay ».

So my parents decided to make an appointment in Paris, one of the best hospitals, specialized in crohn’s.

The day finally came and after a short interview, they decided to keep me to investigate my case, that was 15 days ago.

Today they told me that they are going to remove my ileum, in few days, they don’t know exactly when. I’m so relieved and anxious at the same time, I’m so scared of complications, sepsis, recovery,…

If anyone went through that, feel free to tell your experience ❤️‍🩹
