How do I continue with HRT?

Hi, I was diagnosed with Pof for some years now because of endometriosis and surgery and since late 2025 with early menopause (no period, hot flashes, all the symptoms).

My gyno put me on combi HRT pill (Climaston 2mg/10mg). The first couple of months I was better, I slowly got a little bit of energy back, no hot flashes. But I started having a longer and longer "periods", heavy and painful.

So after 6 months of this, I became anemic and I asked my gyno for another treatment. She told me to go on another pill, called Tibolone.

I started this pill 3 weeks ago but I'm felling horrible, I'm continually bleeding, joint and muscle pain and so much fatigue.

I tried to contact her but with no response, I stopped the Tibolone as I was feeling really badly.

What do I do now? She mentioned at my last check up that if Tibolone is not ok, I should try Climaston 1mg (so the lower estrogen dose).

Anyone had a similar experience?

I live in France and may be different than the US or other countries...but still I would love some perspective from others.

Thanks

Skincare routine and review

Hi, I wanted to share my current routine, some products that I buy over and over, as well as some I will not repurchase.

I live in France, I have dry, sensitive skin. I try to avoid perfume in products especially on my face.

I'm open to criticism and tips on how to optimize my routine, as well as reduce the cost of it all.

From left to right:

- the Ordinary Glicolic acid 7%: I don't like it on my face, I get pimples every time I use it. I will try to use it on my body and scalp. Definitely won't buy it a second time

- eau thermale Jonzac (micellar water): good overall micellar water, does a decent job for everyday use, doesn't remove very well waterproof makeup or glitter in my eye shadows

- Cerave moisturizing lotion: I use it on my body and face, love how light it is. Great for layering different products. I don't use it as often in the winter because it's not hydrating enough.

- Cerave facial moisturizing lotion with spf 50. I use it as my day cream and spf. Will soon switch to something more protective as I will be more exposed to sun the next few months

- La fourche Huile démaquillante ( cleansing oil). I love this! It's my second purchase and I use it when I wear more makeup, removes everything easily. It's by a french online organic shop, very random find! It's 5 euros and excellent for it's purpose.

- So bio BB perfect. It's a nice bb cream, easy to apply and with a matte finish, but a bit dark for my complexion (I have light pale skin and bought the lightest shade available). Affordable price, definitely a good one for summer but will not repurchase in the winter.

- Embryolisse Lait crème concentré. I use it only after I use my retinol, it's very hydrating but pretty expensive and too fragranced for my taste.

- the Ordinary squalane: I use it for face and hair as the last step for days I need more hydration. Also works great for face massage and cuticle oil (love a multi purpose product)

- the Ordinary hyaluronic acid 2%. Used this a lot in the winter, not as much now as it's getting warmer. It's an ok serum for dry skin but I will not repurchase it

- the Ordinary multi antioxidant radiance serum. I bought it because it sounded interesting, I don't see any difference while using it. Maybe it does something in the long term but I don't think I will repurchase.

2 products not pictured:

- Bioderma Sensibio cleansing gel. It's an ok daily cleanser, I didn't see any difference between this and my usual Cerave cleanser. I'm going to try something else, maybe there's something better and cheaper out there?

- the Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion. I like it, doesn't seem to irritate my skin (I use it 2 times a week). Will see in time if does something for aging. Not sure if I see a lot of changes regarding skin texture.

That's all folks!

Do you have any thoughts?
