we tested 3 different Hawaii campsites in 7 days

Hey everyone! Last year we went to Oahu and just couldn't justify the $350/night hotel prices + parking. So we packed our tent!

We stayed at 3 spots to figure out what works best:

  1. Kuli‘ou‘ou Ridge: $28 per night, hike-in, free parking, beautiful pine needle ground, but zero showers and crazy wind.
  2. Camp Pālehua: $25 per person, private, drive-in, great mountain views, real showers! (But strict gate curfews).
  3. Camp Mokulēʻia: $45 per night, private, drive-in, beach camp on the North Shore. (This one is our favorite)

We saved over $2,700 total. If anyone is planning a budget trip to Oahu Hawaii you should give it a try!!!!

Hi! I'm building a website to archive all our magical girl transformation research! It’s still under construction 🚧, but I’d love for you to take an early look.
