How do I get out those gnarly pit stains? Tried pretty much anything.
This hoodie of mine has some really noticeable pit stains that I haven't managed to get out.
It feels like I've tried all the things over the past years, it has been spa dayed, treated with oxygen bleach, baking soda and deodorant stain remover (not in that order). It feels like the stains have gotten worse instead of better. Do you still have ideas how I could get rid of it or is this a goner?
It's an 80/20 cotton/polyester fabric, care label is too faded to read but I remember it being pretty unremarkable.
As far as general laundry goes, I am using a front loader in cotton mode and a washing powder with enzymes (plus occasionally some extra oxygen bleach), as well as a citric acid rinse afterwards. Basically all my clothes are black, so I don't sort by colour - thats why the "white" half is so grey.
