Knee ditch took me out

I’m two sessions into a large piece on my leg. The first was just line work, and while the knee ditch was not fun, it was bearable.

Had my second session four weeks later to do the shading (that was yesterday). We got through most of it (about four hours) but I had to tap out after about 15 mins in the knee ditch. It was BRUTAL.

Any tips for going into the final session? I suspect we’ve got about two hours of work left to do on it.

Unfortunately this past week has been wildly busy with work and I haven’t had much opportunity to get out and explore with my new camera, but I’ve been happily snapping away at home whenever I can.

I’ve been away from photography for 17 years. I’ve never done photography professionally, but previously worked in a professional photo lab and camera shop and I really miss being surrounded by all things photography.

I’m used to shooting film because of this (had easy and cheap access for developing it), so editing digital is a bit foreign to me, which is a big reason I picked a Ricoh! Recipes are proving to be so much fun.

That said, I’m also shooting RAW so that I can learn digital editing, and these photos have had minor edits applied in Affinity (going with the free option until I’ve decided whether I want to keep editing, or just use the SOOC JPEGs).

Feedback welcome!

Thanks 😊
