New Daily!

Hi everyone!
Like most posts on here I’ve seen, I’ve recently joined the 4Runner crowd. I’m very excited and looking forward to the vehicle and the Toyota community.
This made sense for my situation, although I know the trail hunter is way over the top.
I have had an Audi TT for the past 8 years and recent life changes necessitated a vehicle change. The Audi people weren’t so understanding, so I hope there is some more excitement and a more positive community here.
I look forward to chatting and seeing everyone else’s rigs!

Saying Goodbye Mk3… Thanks Everyone

Not that I was an overly active member of this sub, but I always enjoyed what everyone had to post and say about their TT.
This was my first car and I had it for 8 years. I’ve had 6 other vehicles throughout that time to supplement and sometimes try to replace it and nothing was ever as good. A misunderstood vehicle by outsiders capable of much more than ever expected.

Getting married and beginning a family means I had to finally say goodbye and move into something bigger. It went to a good home and hopefully they post on this sub at some point! I will miss it dearly.
Thanks again for the help over the years.

Edit:
Not that I need to explain myself for a decision that:

  1. Is mine
  2. I already made
But I’ve had the car for 8 years. It’s not a forever car for me and now was a good time to move on for me personally. I can sleep at night knowing I enjoyed every bit of the car and to the majority of you that disapprove, I wasn’t looking for your approval.
To the original point of the post, I truly do appreciate the community that I’ve been apart of for almost a decade. Those who aren’t mature enough to appreciate the post for what it is and instead choose to be mean, I don’t really care what you have to say.
Everyone can have their own opinion, and mine is that it was a perfect car for the past 8 years. But that doesn’t mean it is something I would keep forever. If any of you disapproving of me selling decide to sell yours some day, I hope you see where you were wrong. I’ll be driving 2 hour round trip everyday for work, I don’t want to be doing that in a tuned car with a full exhaust. That’s my decision and I’m quite happy with it!
Thanks for those who were supportive or at least left constructive criticism, I think that’s always fair. Thanks again to all of the true Audi enthusiasts!

034 Sway Bar Issues

This was a fun one!
Anyone ever have this issue with their 034 billet rear sway bar end links?
2016 TT w/ 034 rear sway bar and 034 billet end links
Bolt stripped itself right out at some point while I was driving. I’ve had this setup in there for 3 years, so not sure what caused it.
