I remounted this Staghorn a couple of months ago because she was looking real tired on the old board.

She’s absolutely thriving today. A new shield is growing at rapid pace and her fronds are glowing.

Her wingspan is around 1.3m

I remounted this one a couple of weeks back at the same time as my previous post.

It had well outgrown the previous board so it was time to give it a new board. I used reclaimed timber and made it 720x720mm.

My ~35 year old Elkhorn. She’s massive. I’d estimate she’s about 2.5m in diameter.

She’s living on a bungalow palm tree in Sydney Australia.

I remounted this beauty a couple of weeks ago. It was looking really tired on the old board. I cut it back and remounted it on to a larger board and she’s thriving.

I used 19mm form ply for the board.
The board is 900x900mm
Her wing span is a touch over 1.4m
