CR4 taking 5 weeks off = Brennan recording for D20? If so, what do you think it might be?

For those who don't know, CR4 is taking about 5 weeks off to do a mini series. The key thing is that Brennan is not part of that mini series, which got me thinking, maybe the 5 weeks off is for Brennan to record their next series at D20.

I'm not sure if there's been a schedule indicated when the cast goes into recording for a show, but it's always been hard to follow because the only clues we would often get is when they reveal like, a holiday that's coming up during their time of recording. So the fact that CR4 is taking a break gives me the idea that their about to record their next D20 show.

If so, what do you think it might be? I'm going to guess since we just got a main cast show, the recording would be a side quest.

For those that don't know, there was a comedy VTM campaign that came out a while ago called Seattle By Night. This was ST by Jason Carl (the ST behind LA By Night and NYBN) and is one of my favorite VTM campaigns ever. However, it wasn't given proper justice because it was one of the first BIG comedy VTM campaigns out there. And too many people were trying to pigeonhole VTM into a grimdark, horror campaign.

I completely believe that one of DnD's biggest advantages is its flexibility as a system to tell a story you want to tell. The standard format is of course, your traditional high fantasy aspect. But many people's favorite module of DnD is Curse of Strahd, a horror campaign. A court of fey and flowers took DnD and gave it a romance/political spin to it. But D20 and Seattle By Night shows that you can have that same flexibility to VTM. Paradox even created a romance module to provide VTM with a romance flair.

I honestly think this has the capability of changing the foundation of how VTM is seen. For those that don't know, before the Critical Role/D20 days, TTRPG's was much less about roleplay and much more about playing a game, DM vs Players, min/maxing etc. But with CR and D20 leading the ways, they brought in a slew of new players and dm's who wanted to take a more roleplay, collaborative storytelling approach to the game, to where we have what we currently have with DnD.

CCOD, I believe has the capability of causing a similar impact. Vampires are incredibly popular, and there are very few TTRPG's that allows you to play as one. CCOD has the capability of showcasing that you can take VTM and make it how you want it to be, and I'm 100% here for it.
