CCOD and Minor Misinformation

Hi! I love CCOD. Good stuff. Constantly getting how city services work completely wrong. BLeeM is a great DM, he seems to think 911 is mostly cops. Most people do.

I'm a medic in training and an active EMT-B right now and I'm pretty obsessed with 911/Emergency Services and Medicine in general so every time he gets something wrong I have to pause and deep breathe. I obviously can't fix the already filmed season, but I do hope I can inspire some people to correct the misinformation. It's brutal out here and it would be nice if people at least knew how brutal it is.

Emergency Services in the US is defined as police, fire, ems, logistics.

Firefighters actually rarely respond to fires anymore, they primarily serve for stuff like hazmat spills, rescue operations, and assist medical.

Over 90% of fire department calls are medical. Over 80% of fire departments in the US are at least part volunteer (source). Purpee is not unique! Even big cities often DO NOT have career fire departments. Most fire stations you see are paid for and staffed by volunteers.

Please show up to our fundraisers we are so desperate. Ambulances are so expensive. Medications are so expensive. No one cares about the ambulance having enough xyz until they NEED it. And once you need us, it's too late.

Has Oscar Montoya been in any other TTRPG live plays ?

I absolutely adore him as a player. His character and their arcs really hook me and I love his roleplaying. He's been the highlight of every season he's been in, imo. I need moooore.

Does anyone know if he's been in any other live play campaigns and where I could find them ?

Food for thought

I can’t help but wondering, and thinking that unsleeping city, and city council of darkness take place in the same world perhaps just on different sides of the globe

It may just be the fact that these are the only seasons that take place in real world settings, and they both have the existence of vampires

What does saving Ludmila mean for the biangles?

Because they took Ludmila from the very beginning, does that mean the Prime Disruption never happened? They took the Ludmila before she built human bodies for the Corrodi Primarch, and if I remember right, the Corrodi Primarch already had their human-based mechanical bodies by the time they collaborated with the two Zumharan leaders (I forgot their names). So, after their adventure, do the biangles as we’ve known them throughout the campaign no longer exist? The energies (Calefactory, Effulgent, Obtenebrate) should no longer be separate.

I don’t know if I’m understanding it right.

I don’t watch Adventuring Party btw, so if they’ve talked about how the worlds were affected after changing the past, please enlighten me on what they’ve said!
