First post on this sub! I love these little idiots.

I got a message on Tumblr saying that they accidentally reported my account, accusing me phishing and financial scams. They say they were having issues with another user and acted out of frustration, feeling sorry that they brought me into this. I've heard about this type of scam before, but I honestly don't know how to tell if it's a scam. I asked if they were a bot, a scammer, or a being genuine. They say they're a normal human. Confused whether to believe them, I asked what I had to do, thinking that I could reveal the possible scammers true colors through that. I still can't tell. So, here I am. Is this a scam?
