I seem to find boyfriends okay, but haven't made it to marriage

All I wanted as a young person was to fall in love, get married and have children. I've dated, and even been engaged, but was never lucky enough to marry. Recently I thought a very close friendship was going to turn into something romantic, it did become physical, but instead its just soured and I'm left feeling abandoned with hurt feelings. Can anyone see if I'll ever end up finding my someone?
