I was given this as a gift and was told it was WWII bayonet, but since there doesn’t appear to be any markings indicating manufacturers or anything like that and image search yields only fairly similar (specifically Japanese) bayonets I really can’t verify the origin. I also don’t know enough about weapons like this to know if it’s just old or just poorly cared for. Is it authentic, a commercial reproduction, or maybe something someone made just because they thought bayonets were cool? I’d love any insight y’all have.
