I’m looking for a strong developer to help offload ongoing contract work for several healthcare clients. The work is primarily in React, TypeScript, Next.js, BigCommerce, and related integrations like Clerk authentication.

This is a remote contract role for someone who can work independently, take tasks from me, and report back when they’re done. I’m looking for someone reliable, clear in communication, and comfortable jumping into existing codebases with minimal hand-holding.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and maintaining features in React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Working with BigCommerce storefront and integration work.
• Implementing or maintaining authentication flows, including Clerk.
• Debugging, shipping, and improving production code.
• Taking assigned tasks and reporting once completed.

What I’m looking for:

• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• BigCommerce experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable with Clerk or similar auth systems.
• Fluent English.
• Located in a North America time zone.
• Able to work independently and communicate clearly.

Nice to have:

• Prior healthcare or client-services experience.
• Experience working in existing codebases.
• Good judgment around quality, speed, and maintainability.
