I think i found a young Giant Puffball in my backyard. Can anyone confirm that this is one? This is pretty new to me (started with corn smut), and want to try a puffball.
I'm in northern Ohio, if that helps any.
As I've gotten better at PZ, I've realized that there are times to make noise. There are a ton of times where I actually want noise in an area to redistribute zombies. For instance, I'm playing CDDA right now, and after clearing out a large area, I find it useful to fire a gun or honk a horn to draw some of the densely packed zombies from an uncleared area into the cleared area when I'm done, just to make the groups smaller when I come back in the next day or two.
One thing I haven't figured out, though, is how to make whispering useful. Is there a way? One of the loading screen tips is that whispering draws zombies from a smaller radius, but it seems like it's such a small radius that you have to already be just a few tiles away, at which point any melee fighting makes enough noise to draw all the rest around you.
It feels like shouting covers 30 or so tiles, and whispering covers 3 or so. Is there any way to make whispering just a little louder to draw a group of zombies from maybe 10 tiles without alerting another group 25 tiles away?
I'm finally making a deep foray into blacksmithing because I'm playing MP. I'm tired of my ceramic ingot molds breaking each time I cast metal, so I looked on the Wiki and saw there are Iron Ingot Molds and Steel Ingot Molds. They spawn in two types of rooms, blacksmith and garagestorage.
Now, I don't remember ever seeing them when looting garages. They have a really high chance of spawning in a blacksmith room, but i don't know if I've ever found one, so i looked on b42map.com
Well, there are 0 rooms marked as "blacksmith". So, that leaves me wondering if these molds are even implemented in game. Has anyone found them? If so, are there any places where i could reliably find them?
