Running a department on your own as an assistant department manager?

I’ve been running my department on my own as an assistant department manager for about 9 months now (won’t say what department due to ethics concerns.) My department manager position has been open this entire time but they haven’t placed anyone there yet. Any other assistant department managers that have ran a department on their own for an extended period of time?

How did you feel during that period? Were you frustrated with Publix?

Did you feel like training was stagnant? (I like to be developed and learn a lot, but when I don’t get trained, I get bored).

What happened when you finally got a manager? Did you feel like it was a little unfair that they didn’t just promote you to give you said position and find an assistant?

Appreciating the design again of the Santa Fe with a few pictures I took by my local dam. (My apologies if you’re sick of seeing posts like these)

New wheels, I finally did it!

Decided to invest in downsizing wheels and saving money for the future after hearing all the horror stories of flats and bulging Pirelli tires. I had no idea but after install I realized I had a 6" nail through my tire.

Even the people at Discount Tire were telling me I did good by downsizing lol

If you’re thinking about it, let me tell you this…
For a set of 4 Pirelli tires, you can get 4 wheels AND 4 tires and get your car to looking like a rugged light off-roader all while lasting you longer than the Pirellis…
