What is the origin of the wolves in the novels? Were they made by NCP to always serve the crimson king?
It’s revealed in the comics that they were made by NCP and modelled after the wolf guardian yet they still have the same weapons before being taken by the crimson king? However the comics take place on a different level of the tower where history is different
Taken from the end world almanac, this shows what the type one vampires look like alongside what the wolves would’ve looked like in the comics
Robin furth describes the comics as taking place on a new level of the tower and that Roland’s journey is about him going to different levels each time which is why the history in the comics is different.
Since Roland doesn’t have the horn in the comic version of the gunslinger, does this mean that the comic trip took place before the novel trip to the tower?
If Eddie hadn’t died during the battle of devar toi and Roland hadn’t continued to the tower encountering Patrick Danville and dandelo, does this mean that mordred would’ve continued to the tower to free the crimson king without anyone in his path or would’ve he have kept going to try and kill Roland?
As in the last few plots of the novels as king intended and not wasting mordred or Flagg since we know that king was afraid that he wasn’t gonna finish the series after the accident.
I’m hoping that mike Flanagan will take some creative liberty when it comes to certain characters and their roles compared to the novels
We know from the synopsis of the novel that Jack sawyer will be facing against a gang of “infected” teenagers from America, infected how idk but that sounds interesting, he’s also gonna have to face the “mysterious gullet” in mid world.
Are you hoping that some characters are recurring villains such as Flagg? Or completely new ones?
