Failed in 85 then passed in 85

I dont want to sound like I’m bragging because I’ve seen this sub full of posts from people just looking for validation. I’m coming on to offer my two cents on how I bounced back because it was really tough on my mental and I know a lot of people feel like that too.

Truthfully I don’t think I even scratched the surface of preparing my first go around. I used ATI only (I know) and read a nclex textbook. I was a good student and was always able to cram and memorize what I needed for my tests. Figured I’d go about it the same way and just bombed it. I was so beat up about it but told myself I had no choice but to get back up and keep moving

I used bootcamp and Mark K lectures second time around. Can’t overstate how well Bootcamp prepared me for the nclex. Some questions felt identical and the case studies were really similar. Listened to all the Mark K lectures as well which I really recommend. He has some great tips for remembering stuff and going about answering questions. Lecture 12 was definitely the most important though. My bootcamp stats were pretty rough at first but I kept going and watching all their crash course vids which helped pick it up. The readiness exams were good practice too. Let me know if you want to know what my stats were, I won’t post them here but they were about what you’d expect.

Keep your head up. I promise you got this. The most important thing I did was put my full faith in God. Trust that he is by your side in this journey and that you are not alone.

Is this good enough?

I take my test in 22 days. I feel like this isn’t what scores I should be getting and that I need to be doing better. This is going to be my second attempt and I’m not going to fail again. Should I be concerned or switch anything up? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
