Love to see Colbert fanboying
Just wanted to say how adorable I find Stephen Colbert fanboying over The Thing when he's not busy fanboying over LOTR.
First Rewatch of The Witch and The Lighthouse
After seeing them for the first time and loving them years ago. What a treat this was. Eggers is truly four out of four so far, and hopefully five out of five soon.
What's your vote for the most annoying local business TV ad? My vote goes to Jennifer Bylo/Bay State Bath. It's the only one IMO that sucks worse than the national big daddy of them all, Liberty Mutual.
I started listening to Iron Maiden in the early 90s when I was in the 5th or 6th grade. I remember one of my friends mishearing Infinite Dreams lyrics - "waking in a sweat" became "making anus sweat". This random memory just popped into my brain, and I thought this was crucial information for the fine people that frequent this sub.
I wasn't sure about sitting through a five hour documentary, but the hours just flew by. This was very well made. I loved that they got so much of the key crew, and ALL of the surviving cast. And also loved the choice of guest contributors- Frank Darabont, Guillermo del Toro, Eli Roth and Stephen Colbert. Finally, it was a joy seeing my name among thousands of others in the credits- really made me feel like part of something bigger. Shout out to everyone who went to the trouble of sending in videos that were featured in the credits.
