What's up with Apple suddenly bringing back Aqua design for the traffic lights?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining at all -- I think it's kind of cool. It just seems like the antithesis of modern, anti-skeuomorphism Apple.
Maybe Liquid Glass and the end of Tim Cook's tenure really are the start of a new era?

Was inspired by similar ideas people have shared on r/Victoria. Design/style borrowed from the real life Translink Skytrain map (Vancouver). This is a first ever attempt at making any kind of transit map — any feedback is welcome! Made in Canva.
