Was it worth it taking a rural job?
Considering a rural opportunity and wondering if it’ll be worth it. I’m personally from a small town myself but I’ve been living in a big city for the last several years. Considering moving back to a rural city for a position. Not bad on pay, just wondering for the people that have taken a rural job position, what was there reason? Was it more personal/family/expenses or did the hospital provide really good incentives? Want to make sure I get the most bang for my buck before I just take anything.
Power Outage in Shoreline leaves residents stranded.
Today there was a “Scheduled power outage” in shoreline that most residents were not aware of. It was due to ongoing construction. This video shows the reality of a “Modern Smart” apartment complex that utilizes electric Key Fobs to enter and exit almost every door of the entire building. Not only is entrance into the apartment guarded by a Key Fob (normal), but the door to the room halls, bike rooms, amenities, stairs, car garage are all guarded by key fobs. During an emergent time in which power goes out we would literally not even be able to access our vehicles because we need a key fob to get into the car garage.
