SWG done?
Opened pool almost a month ago. Put in about 8 bags of salt. Salt reading was 3600 ppm. Generator running, making chlorine all good. Today I looked at board and salt level is 1700ppm. I’ve only backwashed the pool once so far after opening. Pulled off the SWG and saw some minor scaling. Hit it with a high pressure hose wash, just water then manually scrubbed the scaling. Put SWG back on and still low salt reading. Should I acid wash? This would be the fourth season with this unit. Is it done?
