How many XCRs… lifelong guns?
I’ll be honest, I’ve mostly been a pistol shooter for the last couple of decades, getting into and out of and back into various mostly pistol competitions., I hunted a lot when I was younger, (decades ago.)
I have a couple of ARs, a 9mm pcc (that I use for uspsa), and recently got a xcr-M in 8.6 (and 308 barrel), and an XR-l in 300bo.
I’m finding myself wanting to get multiple calibers and solutions in XCR’s because the price is pretty decent compared to the competition, and I really do like the Guns, in particular I like to controls a lot. The weight is a bit of a thing I guess…
But what’s keeping me in check a bit is that they are a relatively small company, can I really count on these to be lifelong Guns, thinking parts of availability in 20 years? How does this compare to FN, Daniel defense, LW etc.?
I do tend to be a recreational shooter, but gun collector, at least in terms of rifles. Pondering adding another XCR or two to my collection, just wondering what others think.
Waiting for the 10% sales, I can about get two XCRs for the price of a scar or a boombox (I’m into subsonic, that’s why I mention boombox).
Thanks for any thoughts.
