Hii, I'm doing this again! Since Natanya's new album ATTITUDE ERA has 12 tracks, I started seeing where each zodiac sign might fit for this album. First off, it's a really unique and fun album, so I do recommend it! (TLDR: scroll down for the matches 👽)

Here's a little about my perspective (because obviously that influences how I interpreted the songs): I'm a Pisces Sun/Moon/Mars (lol, a lot of Pisces placements, and there are more), Aquarius Rising, and Capricorn Venus. So my interpretations definitely come through that lens, but I tried to approach each song based on its themes, lyrics, and emotional energy.

Last time I tried to condense my thoughts maybe too much, but I will share a bit more of my thought process for each song this time around. Honestly, it was just fun to try this tho!

Now to the matches (in order of the album):

1. Ticketstop: Aries ♈️
This one is the easiest. It feels like you're on the brink of something, very much surviving the "winter" until your big break arrives. Her attitude is getting her through and she won't stop! (This is my fave on the album btw)

2. Candyland: Gemini ♊
The energy and lyrics feel very airy in a witty and sensual way, which matches the playfulness of the Gemini twins. This song is very much about connecting intimately with a partner, playfully (almost all of her songs are playful in theme). Her demand in the song feels very much like she's bluffing but seeing how far she can take it.

3. Fantasize: Libra ♎
Wanting to be noticed by a crush (to the point of changing their hair) and very much in their head about it, asking whether or not it's wrong that they fantasize about this person. This made me rule out the water signs because that's the focus: this person really just wants to find out if it's wrong or not that they do this. A Libra fantasizing might feel this way, worried about their thoughts and attention.

4. Don't Ask: Virgo ♍
Pure over-analysis. You don't want to come off too strong, yet if the other person showed a little reciprocity and appreciation, your guard is down. The one caveat that made me question this is that they wouldn't "give it up" right away. A Virgo definitely still has their composure about them, outwardly at least.

5. Play With A Kiss: Leo ♌️
This is a physically playful song, right up Leo's alley. They are fun and want to be the center of attention in this budding relationship. It also could be Aries because it does sound like young fiery love, but later she claims she doesn't want to be toxic about it, which feels more like Leo's long-term concern about a relationship or situationship.

6. Show Me Right: Pisces ♓
This person may be on the verge of a secret love affair. As a Pisces... I would say that I can romanticize what is kept secret or unknown rather easily. The person in this song still needs reassurance or guidance to go through with the act, however, which also feels very Piscean. One other take I had for this song was Scorpio for similar reasons.

7. Hush: Taurus ♉
Dissolving into pure physical intimate pleasure with a person, BUT this is still private, and they feel protective over this love. I also consider Taurus to be such a watery earth sign, and this feels very much like that. It was between Taurus and Cancer (and I almost threw my Pisces hat in the ring again because I also love this song, but privacy being necessary speaks more to those two signs to me).

8. Save A Love Song: Cancer ♋
You must meet them in the middle in order to reach the true love at the core. This one could also be interchangeable with Taurus, but this feels like a Cancer projecting their true feelings and hoping that their partner feels the exact same way... like they're trying to manifest it. In fact, they're saving THIS love song for that day. It's already written and they're singing it to themselves for now, which feels very Cancer to me.

9. Freakshow: Aquarius ♒
Now... the title alone obviously gives this away as Aquarius, and when I look at the lyrics, it does talk about owning who you are in your environment despite feeling like you don't fit in. There is also an aspect of self-soothing, or like this could be an Aquarian mantra to feel yourself at all times.

10. Family: Capricorn ♑
Protecting, knowing, and accepting your family as just that. I also like how this explains one's family lore and dynamic, or the combining of families, and I feel Capricorn would really be one of the best signs at keeping up with all this and not necessarily wanting to change the family but working with it to build their foundation. A Capricorn can still build solidly with almost any foundation compared to the other signs.

11. Appetite: Scorpio ♏
This one was slightly tough, but then everything worked out this way. It makes sense to me that the intense nature of a Scorpio can be described as having an appetite. Also, when I think of Scorpio's place alongside its water siblings, the scorpion feels the most different from the watery nature of a fish and crab. Sometimes Scorpio can be the coldest water sign and other times the most fiery water on the planet. This feels appropriate to remind the "Mr. Heart of Stone" Scorpio in this case to "let the ocean move us even closer," a reminder to trust yourself and be in your element of water, which it also has command over, just like Cancer and Pisces.

12. Finders Keepers: Sagittarius ♐
This is the Sagittarius who found someone they like and is staking their claim. This song is also playfully fiery as they want to show they're marked by their love interest. Sagittarians are the adventurers or seekers in the zodiac, so I could see them looking at a person of interest as a found treasure they have to protect during their adventures.

Let me know your thoughts and what you agree/disagree with! I love this as an exercise to get better at understanding all the signs, especially the ones I don't automatically feel connected to right off the bat.

Hii, nobody asked for this, but as soon as I saw that new avatar has 12 tracks, my brain started ticking and I started wondering where each zodiac sign might fit in this album. (TLDR: scroll down for the matches 👽)

Doing this exercise actually made me realize that while the album can map onto all 12 archetypes, the dominant energies I personally feel throughout it are fire and water — identity, desire, emotional intensity, transformation, and rebirth. In fact, I actually had Scorpio pegged for A LOT of songs at first when doing my first pass, which makes sense because Scorpio carries such an intense, transformative energy just like this album.

• Self-realization, confidence, personal power, and the desire to be seen.

• Holding onto something valuable, processing disappointment, and confronting the lack of honesty/stability in a relationship.

4. outta time — Virgo ♍

• Analyzing what went wrong, reevaluating the foundation of a relationship, and realizing something needs to change.

5. against me — Pisces ♓

• Emotional understanding of both sides, compassion, and recognizing that there is more than one perspective or possibility.

6. crystalize — Cancer ♋

• Emotional memory, attachment, vulnerability, and wanting to make something fleeting become permanent. Cocooning.

7. retaliation lullaby — Libra ♎

• Weighing options, questioning when to walk versus when to fight, and seeking fairness (including fairness toward yourself).

8. linknb — Sagittarius ♐

• Expansion, self-discovery, and launching yourself toward something bigger. Return of personal fire.

9. don't piss me off — Scorpio ♏

• Desire, intensity, power, and that playful-but-serious magnetic energy.

10. new life forms — Aquarius ♒

• Transcendence, detachment from the familiar, experimentation, and evolving into something completely new. Also.. yes, the title itself

11. the bridge — Gemini ♊

• Communication, duality, playful relationship energy, and of course Kelela + PinkPantheress as the Gemini twins 👯‍♀️.

12. if we meet again — Capricorn ♑

• Considering the "what if," but ultimately accepting reality. Standing on business, recognizing effort matters, and moving forward. One final note on the relationship.
