the simple reason i went from being a fan to a hater
because after a certain point, it was easier to be a hater than a fan.
when i was a fan, i had to constantly come up with excuses to justify her actions. i didn't even fully believe some of these excuses, and i only told myself them because it was easier than admitting that melanie might be a real sicko when i had really liked her music and aesthetic.
being a hater, i literally just have to use my common sense and critical thinking skills. that's it. i don't have to put effort into being a hater. it just comes naturally, as she has given us far more reasons to dislike her than to like her.
