Battery replacement shenanigans.
I've brought 3 phones to ubreakifix now for battery replacements. A Pixel 4a 5g, an iPhone 16 pro and a Pixel 8. All three came back with additional issues that they did not go in with and had to be repaired again. Is this company not hiring qualified techs or not training them to be qualified? The only alternative I can think of is they are so under the gun time wise that they skip testing at the end of it. So what is going on here?
Update: This is a corporate location. They want to replace the parts and are saying it will be at least a week before parts come in. Asking them to open the phone to make sure the parts actually need replaced is a no go without the store manager approval. The store manager is on vacation, they are going to try the district manager. Been here for an hour and a half already.
