Stationary Engineer/HP in NYC

Good Morning. Im looking into pursuing the high pressure operating engineer certification in NYC. Currently, I hold FDNY COFs: Q01, F60, G60, A35, P98, P99, S12, S13. I hold a bachelors of science in mechanical engineering and Engineer in Training certification so my understanding is my time to HP is shorter. The only situation is getting a position at a plant under an engineer.
Ive been working as an RSOE for 3+ years now.

Please give me any advice feel free to PM. I would love to chat with someone who has experience especially anyone who has recently entered.

Thank you
